Default jp custom rcs dual spring shocks

I'm getting pissed off with my MRC shock shaft coming detached from the bottom shock mount, so am looking for an alternative.

On a quick search for 70mm shocks these came up.

They seem pretty much perfect but i have a few questions please.

Anyone running or tried these shocks ?

Any problems with leakage?

Could someone please measure the total shock diameter and the diameter of springs used?

Cheers
Mark

Those are the RC4WD dual rate shocks. I doubt your MRC would even budge them. I would get some Duratrax vendetta shocks.

If the springs are 12mm diameter though i can swap them out for some of my MRC springs.

If they're the same size i planned on chopping up some the MRC springs i have laying around.
I'd chop a set firm and soft springs up and use the softs on the bottom and the firms on the top.

those shocks stick. but as soon as you move them the first time they free back up. but everytime you use the crawler youll have to unstick them.

I've ran different springs on them, trust me they are not going to work on an MRC. Even after modifying the piston they have too much resistance. Just get the Duratrax shocks.

Oh well seemed like a good idea at the time thanks guys for the quick responses

It's these DuraTrax Shocks for the Vendetta right?

What diameter is the shock shaft, is it 2mm like my current Losi LOSB1439's?
Does the bottom mount screw into the shaft?
