Default nylint wants the defective chassis back???

when did this start? i've modified mine, the defect isn't due to the modification and i don't want to do the work all over again!!!

quote from email i received today:

Quote:
Hi,

I'm sorry our product has been defective. Please send in your defective
chassis to Funrise Toy Corp, 6115 Variel Ave., Woodland Hills, CA 91367.
Also include your ORIGINAL RECEIPT so we have proof of purchase and a
claim of warranty. Due to Chinese New Year, the chassis are on back
order from Hong Kong which means they will not be shipped out until late
March. We will send out a chassis once we get them in stock. Attention
to Steve or Don.

Thank you,

Don

There's always that. Quoted from the "message from mods" sticky at in this section.

At least they actualy got back with you.

I sent them an e-mail about two weeks ago, never got a reply. It's a good thing I knew it was a POS before I bought it, and wasn't expecting much

If they want it, they can come and get it.

I have 3 of them and they all run great, and I never paid $150 for any of them.

My wife runs a UPS store... I ship stuff all the time... if they want the old chassis back, Take off the Tires, Body, Battery and just ship the "chassis" by itself. Shipping should only cost you @ 10 bucks. Ive spent more then that on lunch!!! I fully agree that if your axle snapped and you simply did a tummy tuck, it should be covered but "any mods" cancelws the warranty, so heres my advice.. if you buy one... drive it (the chassis) stock till the warranty runs out, then mod it how ever you want.... But until the warranty runs out, dont complain about having to send it in becasue you modded it and it broke and you dont think they will cover it if you send it in.
