Default Tummy Tuck questions?

Just wondering what it does to the CoG and if it is worth it?

Do you loose flex do to flipping over sooner

I want to do it but not if it doesnt help enough

so far i love the proformance and see the biggest problem being the tummy and rear axle not making it over.

Thanks

it raises the COG slightly if you use the stock battery, if you use a slim (Fast and Furious) battery there is really no noticable difference.

no, you do not lose flex, or at least i didn't.....

definately go with the tummy tuck, it makes a huge difference, and you will also have to shave the rear axle. The suspension didn't change at all for me, and the COG isn't bad at all.

Im still using the stock batt.

There is little to no difference in my opinion

I think it is definitely worth it.....plus if you still use ur stock batt......there are ways of using it w/o cutting other things

definetly go for the tummy tuck. Switch to the F&F battery and put some bb's in the front tires. The cog will end up being better due to the smaller, lighter batt and the added weight in the tires drops the cog. These things are a pita with out a tummy tuck and a shaved rear axle, you'll be MUCH more happy with it after you do these mods.

i would say that as long as you got shocks you will be fine with c.o.g. because that battery still sit's about center of the frame. get savage shocks their oiled and have a better spring rate.

PSHHHH NOOOOOOOB The tummy tuck really helps, but it does get hung up on the rear axle more unless you take good lines going at things at a slight angle. Worth it deff.

yep the TT is worth it even wit a stock battery and yes u will get hung up on the rear where the motor is but you wouldnt even been able to get to to the motor befor bcuz u flip or slide off the rock bcuz of the Fat stock belly, and the motor relocation isnt that hard, im gonna try and get pics of the bracket that i made and show yall where i screwed it into the all ready there screw spots.

Just to give you an idea of mine (this was a few months ago)

since then; upgraded chasis, no belt slippage, rear tires are 2 cm from the rear fenders at full flex, fronts rub a bit, fishing line limiting straps, lots of scratches.
Give it a week or so and you will be hacking at it.
I'm pretty much done with this thing. It's fun crawling while it works . I'm starting to get into the scale crawlers of the 1/10 flavor.
