Default My next project

Take two 1/6 nylint's and make one 8x8x4 military hemtt.

donor vehicles

End result should look like this.

Since no one makes the hemtt model in 1/6 scale I have decided to make the body out of roof flashing.

Default Just 2 more axles to go

I am going to need a lot of wire it has got to be at least 20 wires for both the front axles.

Those are awesome vehicles, never got the chance to drive one while in service. What scale would make the 6.5" Nylint tires scale to the 52" tires those things run? Hmm, perfect math, 1:8 scale.

Default electronics

I think I might run both receiver modules in the rig with two batteries I do not think it will be a problem running them both with the same radio.

This will be a great crawler hauler.

This is the coolest idea yet. PLEASE keep us updated because i would like to attempt this sometime. I think having a longer body, four flexy axles, and an extended wheelbase will get you to places a stock one would dream of. Two batteries can be run for a little more weight and power.

I'm speaking expedition-wise, not rockcrawling. I like to take my nylints out and make trails as far as i can go. Just "exploring"....
