i've heard of 500,000wt but i think its too much... i run 120,000wt in my savage diffs. after filling 2 diffs your hand hurts from squeezing the bottle because its like molasses.

What is a good good k number to get so that the wheels will give just a little under hard cornering but if one tire is put against a wall or obstacles that the opposite tire doesnt start spinning and the other doesn't move?

That depends on too many variables to give an answer. Weight, traction, power, all have to be considered.

I used some 50k in the rear diff of a slash 4x4 made 2x4 for my 3 1/2 year old boy to learn on.. It spins both tires on gravel to the point it always washes out and is hard to drive straight. Even on pavement it spins both. If I hold one tire and throttle the truck the other breaks free. It's too much lock for what i was trying to achieve but may not be enough for the rock runner your talking about. Just trying to give you an example of what 50k is like..

(For the record.. I haven't built an uncontrollable truck for my boy.. I tone it way down in the ESC for him and have the slipper set loose so its easy on the gear when he hits a wall and forgets to let off the the throttle for 30 seconds straight. ) Lol

Ya I know, just trying to find a baseline or guesstimate what would possibly work.
(do not know if guesstimate is spelled correct because my itouch isn't correcting it lol)
