Default Tearing up my stock AX10 center outdrives...

It's about time I get myself a new certer locker thing...

I'm a bit new to this part of the RC market, I've had my SCX10 (now a brushless rock racer/buggy thing) for quite a while, but hadn't run into any issues until I installed the brushless system.
It's only a 17.5T, but has so much more power and torque than anything else I've put in it.

As you can see, my center locker outdrives look like soggy turds.
Their contour lets the set screws rotate a bit on the shaft, so the universal shaft rocks back and forth on she shaft. This, in turn, loosens the set screws, not even RED loctite can stop it.
During a casual outing with a buddy today, I had to re-tighten the rear set screw twice, and the front one once.
then, the front shaft came loose, and the upper half of the half-shaft just fell off completely, slid right out.
So, I actually have a bit of money right now, which is quite rare.
I WAS going to buy another brushless ESC for another truck, but I want this thing running again, it's tons of fun! (and I just sheared an axle on my Evader anyway, so I can borrow the ESC from that for a while)

I've tried looking around, but I don't know what to get to replace the locker!
I'm having no issues with transmission gear durability, so a bolt-on locker like the stock would be fine.
Do any companies make them with the holes that go all the way through like the Traxxas outdrives?

Now, since I am out one universal shaft, and half a driveshaft, I might as well upgrade that too, right?
I also have no idea where to start.
what would be good? Who makes what? Where can I get it?

I just have no idea where to look, most of these crawler/scaler upgrade companies are smaller, and harder to find/hear about.

I've got $56 to spend, although I'd like to spend less if possible.
Thanks a lot guys! Hopefully I'll be spending more time around here.

here's my rig
