| LinkS ???????
Some people might think this is a stupid question and I kinda do but I want to see what other people seem to like the best. I am working on totally rebuilding my Bully with new chassis and all and I usually either make my own links or use the ones that come with the chassis but I think I want to go a little stronger than brakeline and all thread on this build and the delrin links I have won't work. I am trying to keep it as light and as strong as possible but I am not sure what to go with. I have been looking at stainless, titanium and the ice links which are titanium or stainless with a delrin sleeve but want other peoples opinions as to which is better and why. I will need to be able to put a slight bend in the lowers and the uppers should stay straight. Thanks for any help. |

I would just go with ice links like hcm. you get the strength of titanium and the slipperiness of delrin. He said he doesn't care if you copy him so you might as well seeing as his performs so well

| Re: LinkS ??????? Thats the links I am seriously thinking of going with but wanted to see what other people say about other links since all I have ever used are the delrin links and brakeline links. I figure titanium would be fairly slick by itself but I have no idea since I have never used it and nobody I crawl with uses it.

I offer stainless links and can do custom lengths and bends. I make them out of 3/16" solid 304 stainless steel rod and then the ends are threaded 8-32 for Revo or Jato ends. Links do come with Revo ends installed and are cheaper than Ti but with the same slip qualities.

^^^^^ I agree stainless is way more cost effective. Titanium will be lighter though.

R2J's SS links are quite nice! I run them on my Super and my Wraith and have never had an issue. For a bit lighter (that should work well for straight uppers), I bet he'd make you some out of 7075 Aluminum....they will be about 40% lighter as well.
