Default What's your RTI score?

I know most people could care less about RTI. I, for one really don't think its a big deal unless your going for "ramp queen" but I thought it would be cool to see what everyone else has for their score

you can go here http://www.snakeracing.com.au/rticalculator.html then punch in the #'s and it will calculate it for ya..make sure you do a 30 degree ramp though.that way everyone will be on the same ramp..

with a 30* ramp w/ a 15.5" wheelbase, i have an RTI score of 1355

so what's yours?

You thought you had a high number, I got 1741 for a stock TXT !!! 30 deg ramp, 13.5" WB, and 11.75 in of wheel travel, measured in the middle of the tire. Who knows, there is no way my stock truck can out flex COP, is there???

That's your problem.... measure at the lowest point of raised tire and re figure your numbers.

cause you measure at the bottom of the tire, not the middle

not bad at all , i think JK has the Mudcow at like 1407 or something near that mine could go more, but i have ran out of places to put my shocks and they work great where they are now

I could go more if I swaped back on the Savage shocks to the front(90* artic) but with my current setup it's super stable and handles with ease, no surprises.

Well then 1407 is that better. I went on the middle to average out the flex, since on a real truck you run the tire up the middle of the ramp. Oh well. So 9.5" of travel then.

thats wierd, i put in 30* ramp, 9.5" of travel w/ 13.5" WB and it doesn't even give me a #..it says NaN

1310 over here. I've found much more impedes normal use! With my clearanced shocks mounted like an inch from the center of the axle, It could go past vertical...... Which I suppose would be infinite?

With the shocks mounted out a bit further now it can go pretty fast and still has plenty of flex.

Oh yeah; GO STOCK CLOD SHOCKS

Putting in "Infinity" for flex reads "Your vehicle would have driven Infinity inches up a 30* ramp"

Not anymore. Cos I lengthened the wheelbase the RTI has gone down. Still has the same angular flex where I can lift a wheel about 9.5" off the ground. Just goes to show how irrelevant RTI is with very flexy rigs.

A better way to compare is the angle of one axle to the other at full flex. The MudCow is about 65 degrees and this is gives a very balanced truck.

I get 1107. Thats with the short front shocks, it seems to work better that way.

Angle of the front axle relative to the rear is about 50 degrees.
