| Why is it...
Why is it that every time someone breaks a Nylint the word "defective" comes into play? You don't see folks on ANY other area of this site whine and complain when they break axle tubes, inner or outer axle shafts, blow diff gears, strip out a wheel hex, cook electronics, etc... This is a common occurrence in the Nylint forums, though. Then folks complain when they don't get their parts that were obviously "defective" replaced as soon as a phone call is made, they come on here and talk about how "customer service is a joke", "Nylints suck", etc. I think some of you have the words "business" and "charity" mixed up. Nobody expects free replacements from Tamiya, Traxxas, or any other RC company for the $800-$1,000 crawlers, but that little Nylint that costs $45 from the local department store had better be built like a tank! If not, guess what? THEY SUCK! Get over it folks. It's a toy from a department store. Buy it knowing that if you break it, it's broke. Don't abuse Wal*Marts return policy, don't moan about how it broke, suck it up like the rest of the hobbyists on here and fix it. Or...as the Nylint box says, "Get over it" If you can't fix it, step up to a TLT and have fun. Parts are cheap, easy to get, and you have much more latitude when it comes to mods. [/rant] |

I agree with you 100%. I only wish Nylint would offer a website where honest people could go to order replacement parts. |

| Yep I agree to if their was a place were I could order parts it would be perfect. I think the reason why people complain is because it is advertised as a rock crawler and people think it should be bullet proof. I know that when I broke mine I offered to pay for it |

Because the dumbass that owns the site felt it was needed. If you don't like it, send a PM to DirkDigler, he might work on the issue for you.

Those guys are going to be pulling overtime, 'cause the first elephant to ever drive a Nylint has started a post in the Nylint forum. |

Yowza! I think people should consider Nylints as a stepping stone, so to speak. Last edited by Mad Scientist; 04-10-2006 at 12:35 PM. |
