| Axle Widths
I'm looking for the axle widths for the following axles: TLT - 6.625" (drive pin - drive pin) Clod - 9.5" (drive nut - drive nut) TXT - 9.41" (inside shaft - shaft) 11.42" (outside shaft - shaft) Jugg - Twin Force - 12" (hex - hex) X-Factor - 14" (hex - hex) E-Maxx Hybrids - 14.25" (hex - hex) Savage Hybrids - I'm looking for the outdrive to outdrive measurement only, not tire to tire. I've got an idea that I am trying to put together but do not have any of these axle types. Thanks in advance. Last edited by gone_wheelin; 09-15-2006 at 10:36 PM. |

Well since apparently no one owns a ruler to measure their axles, does anyone know where I can locate these measurements on the internet? I tried Tower but they do not give widths for the housings and I've tried looking through the different threads here but, they usually list tire to tire measurements and these are no use to me since some people use wideners or narrow their tires. |

TXT 1 measurements are, Inside to inside of shafts is 238mm Outside to outside of shafts is 290mm. I am very new to RC and I am assuming that output shafts are the ones with the threads on the end which you bolt the wheels onto? Regards' Nigel |

Yeah I guess they could vary but I figure most are probably going to be pretty close, within an inch or two of each other.

Thanks for the measurements guys. I'm going to guess that the Jugg's are not any wider than the Clods and since the IFS hybrids can vary in width I doubt they would be much wider than the 14" of the X-Factor. Once I get the time to work on this project of mine I will post up some info w/specs and pics. |

I'll jump on the boat here and ask if anyone will measure how wide their bruiser front axle is. Wheel mounting surface to WMS would be ideal. Thank you

E-Maxx is 11.5" from u-joint to u-joint and 14.25" from outsides of the drive hexes. This is maximum width with the suspension compressed so the arms are parallel with the ground.
