Default Thinnest SLW Hubs..

im looking for the thinnest slw hubs.

my reason for this is.. i am building a C3 on wraith axles and im trying to keep width down so im looking for the best wheels to keep my width like close to stock.. or maybe even + offset.

i dont wanna be over 12inchs wide.. and i dont wanna cut my axle housings..
Whats my options?

The narrowest hub is a .225". Those give you a pretty narrow track width with an SLW wheel.

For the narrowest option, you can try to find some old VP neg offset slw's like Diamond D had on his Sportsman truck.

10.75 track width is very nice... Does anyone know if Locked up .185 on stock axles what the track width would be?

You can also go with some losi scte style hexes that are a bit thinner than even the scx hexes. You should be able to get close to 11" wide depending on your tires. I can get mine to 10.625" with pitbull 2 tires, but that is with a carbon fiber face mounted wheel. Not very scale but oh well.

I have some locked up wheels but they wont get you all that narrow. A 1" wide vanquish slw works out pretty good.

Pitbulls ver2 and Motoworks Talon beadlocks will be exactly 12" outside on AR60 axles.

stock wraith axles + TSS 2.2 Robby Gordon 1" beadlocks + LURC .185 SLW hub + thin 5mm SCX hex + 2.2 IRok tires = 11.25" track width

about as tight as your gonna get and as narrow of a track. narrower tires would be the only thing left you could do to get it to 11"

RC4WD makes a pin drive hub that has a SLW compatible bolt pattern. The holes just need to be tapped to 3mm. You can see more info about them in Crash's sporty thread in the Ridgecrest section. This is the narrowest setup out there...

You could look into these as well.

Lattice Innovations Shift Hubs.

Presenting Shifts, Lightweight n' Flexible Offset Hubs

I believe they made a narrow version.
