Yes a ridgecrestv with new tires, body and name. I absolutely love it. Should help keep the ax10 on the market. I never did like the ridgecrest body. Just weird.

It's a lot better looking than the ridgecrest body. I actually think that body would look great with scx10 axles.

Edit: if axial is going to keep releasing ridgecrest variants than they should make some clod size wheels and tires and release all the non-monster jam bodies. The ridgecrest frame already looks like a monster truck cradle.

Kind of weird -- still no press release or information on Axial's website. Maybe the advertising guys are on vacation this week.

The AX10 never really did anything for me. Yea, cool - new rig, but I'd love to see something besides a Jeep or Bronco. How about an Axial hardbody of something completely different? Like a GM or Dodge pick up?

I vote someone, anyone make a nice Dodge hardbody just so we can have a little more variety. I guess with licensing trademarks it's pretty hard, someone could make a great company just making hardbodies for us scalers.

This X100000000.

However making molds and I'm sure a certain minimal number of bodies that would have to be made would get expensive really quick. But it would be awesome to have a nice variety of 1/10 scale hardbodies. Dodge Ram, Chevy/GMC full size, Toyota Tacoma, etc.

Actually, I think instead of molds you could use a 3d printer, which would make it really easy. (maybe)
I do like the new body.
