i think you would need a 6 pole 2 or 3 position switch, and wire the positive and negative to the middle 2 poles, and 2 other poles wire the positive to the positive side and the negative to the negative side like normal. but on the last 2 poles, wire the negative to the postive, and the positive to the negative sides, and splice the negative coming out of the switch to the positive coming out of the other side, and the positive to the other negative, and run it to the motor and battery and test it. I'm sure that's hard to follow, but i'm not supposed to be online at school so i had to type this fast, i'll draw a diagram in paint when i get home -Dalton Last edited by hotrodzach; 10-23-2006 at 10:20 AM. |

why was this moved to the Nylint section? yes, it is a question about something going on my Nylint, but it is NOT Nylint specific....with it in the electronics section i would have gotten more answers... Zach's answer sounds right, but it would be nice to have other people back up the answer and give me a definate answer before i go out and buy a 6 pole switch.... |

well, i figured it out..... the stock nylint on/off switch is a 2 position 6 pole switch....so i am using it for in/out and a regular toggle for on/off....damn i'm good! |

wish i could, but the only camera i have is a cheap one from walmart and for some reason it quit taking a charge..... i have got to come up with a batter way to mount it.......i thought high temp hotglue would be strong enough, but i let one of my friends play with it, and he thought puttig it in high and jumping it off a 4 foot tall hill would be "cool".....now i am left with a winch that fell off and a crawler that wont shift into low.....damnet i dont wanna lock this thing in low |

You guys are making it harder than you need to.As for the winch are you using Nylint electonics? Are you putting this winch on a different vehicle besides a Nylint?LMK and I can help.I was the one that started the axle/winch conversion.
