the potentiometer in the steering may be off, try taking it out, and adjusting it some, and it should fix it did you buy the stick nylint from wrecker? -Dalton |

without a doubt, its the potentiometer (sp?)... its supposed to be adjusted so that when it is centered, the steering is centered....sounds like its set now that when the steering is centered, the pot reads that it is turned to the left, so it sends signal to the boards to try to straighten the wheels out, which results in them being turned to the right |

take the steering box out of the axle, and take it apart, leaving all wires still connected. in the part that sticks out the top of the axle above where the link attaches to the knuckle there will be a little metal thing with 3 wires sticking out of it. take it out of the steering box and close the steering box but with the potentiometer outside it, and turn the nylint on. if it automatically steers to the right, twist the handle on the potentiometer until it goes back straight. turn the nylint off and reassemble the steering box with the potentiometer inside. turn it back on and steer left and right and it should work. put it back in the axle and you're done -Dalton |
