Help chossing transmssion / transfercase

Need help from veteran builders here.
I am building 1.9 crawler from scratch like trx but not.
I will be making the frame rails from steal stock so anything go's.
I have been looking at this unit and wont to know your thoughts, if this could work?

Would going with a Planetary gearbox be the way to go?

1/14 Planetary gearbox (with transfer case)

Features: gearbox comes with planetary slowdown, players only need to match the ordinary white pig motor can achieve high torque output.

F-5011:gearbox in two steps, a file total output is 1/28, the second gear total output is 1/42

that will give you very low speed. almost unusably slow possibly

I'd use the GCM LRT2 Transfer Case with their scale transmission setup, its a really nice, scale and reliable piece that also overdrives the front axle by 11%.

I know it takes a little time to get responses on a forum and dang it I just couldn't wait and had made an order for scx 10ii Hot racing Alum. Case(kit) one I hope, and boom Helical Transmission Gears.....
....o well...
Got to use it now.
