Heat them up before turning. Always do this with blue . I use my soldering iron.

I can tell you 6 different ways. If they are sunken are they threaded pins or full screws. Drilling and /or cross cutting are options. You may end up drilling or cutting too deep, so think through it. Leave your iron on it for a solid 5:00........ then try a brand new hardened tip in your driver. Then get a sharp drill and go slow

Itried a 1/16 hex, still a no go, easy out.... no go, small one bottems out before it can grab and the next size up doesnt fit. Next i will try dremel and one of my micro straight blades... thank for the suggestions! Im just really upset with myself... I was taking my time... had it all laid out.... double checked before installing... then after the front drive shaft kept falling out I realized the Bombers trans and T-case are backwards compared to the Yeti.....

Threaded pin, so If drilling is my last resort, I dont need to go deep, im guessing 8th of an inchish

I did this exact same thing on my fancy SSD Bomber Axle housings - installed the wrong MIP parts on the pinion gears, the LockTite set, and I broke a MIP hex driver off in one, and rounded out the other.

They are sitting while I decide how to proceed.

Thankfully I had a second set of axle housings!

I'll eventually take a Dremel tool to them or something... so I can build my second Bomber.

are there any threads on the other side where you could thread in a screw?

Feeding a screw from the other side may spin it back out.

Good tools are always a must....

This is exactly what I do to get red out as well. Usually I can get blue to let go by holding a nice driver in there and applying a steady but small amount of torque. I think maybe the compression creates enough heat to loosen it. For red tho the only thing that has worked for me is the soldering iron trick.

Do you have a small dremel sized round/ball end burr but that can be made to fit inside?

Burr the hole out enough that the bit goes in at least halfway. Then do the soldering iron thing a few minutes. Chuck this burr bit into a cordless drill and then reverse it in the hole as slow as possible. Try to get it to ‘bite’ as you work and wobble it around.

Well thanks for the help, i have almost 1 grub screw out. Cut a notch in the back side, modified a screw driver it fit it, then used a small ball tip grinder and slowly drilled out the hex end i just marked the depth of the tip so I didnt hit the shaft.... once i get this one out i can split the tcase and do the other side. I already have an email out to Super Shafty to get the correct hubs and screws... stupid mistake on my part not looking and realizing transmission orientation in this truck....

Try tapping in a star tip driver there usaly tapered and will wedge them selfs in There i use a torch to heat my mips up enuff to loosen the lock tight but if all else fails and maybe a first resort get a over sized drill bit and a 4m tap drill it out and tap it to 4m thread it and use the axial sized pins and never have that issue again in fack i think mip is starting to use the larger pins now also you can take them apart at the joint and swap them maybe i dont know what part is to short on yours the shaft or the ball end

Or if you use a.standerd tap to thread the mips it wont cut the threads in all the way so when you drive the pin in it gets wedged in the hole and no longer needs locktight kinda like a lock nut and like most lock nuts it will were out and some day need lock tight but thats like 10-20ins and outs befor that happens lol

I had to use a cobalt tipped drill once to drill out a grub screw that I stripped.

I got one out, second almost out. Using cheap Harbor Freight "diamond tip" dremel accessories. I think Ican salvage the hubs, but have new ones coming from SuperShafty
