| HR Winch Line Replacement
I little befuddled here... I have this winch: https://hot-racing.com/?partnumber=ACC833X01;c=1020 The winch line broke, and I am trying to thread another one on, but I cannot get the old winch line out. There are two screws in the spool, but removing them only lets the spool free-wheel on the shaft connecting the motors. Any idea how to get the old line out to get the new line in? Thanks! |

Burn it with a micro torch or soldering iron. Tie new line around spool with a good slip knot and use a toothpick to dab a couple spots of CA to keep it from slipping

I've used Kevlar string rated at 250lbs with great success on my RC2WD 8274 winch (which is insanely powerful).
