Default Green, Post-Rain PA Trail Shots

Some shots from today. We had all day and overnight rain yesterday here in central Pennsylvania, so this morning/today was super green and beautiful...

Here's a link to higher quality photos on imgur:

Great pictures, but make them smaller. 800x600 is normally the preferred size.

The photos are great. I'm so anxious to get out.

Unfortunately, the photos are much too large for the forum. 1200x1200 is the maximum size allowed. Please fix the links. I have a guide here if you need assistance: Imgur - Embedding and Posting Photos

Thank you.

Ah, I'm slightly challenged in this way. I've had the same issue before. Fixed!

And thanks! It's getting very green and pretty here in PA, and the trails are great right now. The bugs are about to get really bad though. So it goes...

Are you running the Vanquish bumpers on your truck? I have them and they are great, tons of clearance.

Sure am. They've been great. Huge improvement from the stock bumpers. The stock bumpers got hung up on everything. I think there's maybe even a more perfect front bumper out there that sits even higher and closer to the body.

I've been wanting to try this bumper:

Looks like a great place to wheel! I love damp conditions, it's fun to slip and slide all over the rocks.

It's been so been great having this wooded 2 acre lot to make trails on while getting into RC crawling.

Douglassvile, PA, huh? I've been meaning to ask some fellow east coasters... What tires are you running for the type of mixed stuff we see in our area?

I prefer Proline TSL's myself. They just seem to hook up no matter what I'm running on. Dirt, mud, rock - they just seem to find traction. PB Rock Beasts also work very well, a close runner up for me.

Surprisingly, every time I run Hyrax, I'm left wanting, even on dry rocks. They just don't seem to grab like TSL's do.

No worries! Thank you for fixing them!

I'm also from SE PA. I trail with OSRC. My three favorite tires, by far, are:

-Proline TSL Super Swampers, which OSRC turned me onto when I was a newbie.
-Proline Hyrax - I prefer them in Predator compound, but G8 works well too. I just found Predator to work better in the wet.
-Pitbull Rock Beasts

I have a set of JConcpets Landmines to try. They look similar to Rock Beasts, but in a different compound, obviously, since they come from a different manufacturer.

Thanks for the recommendations! Looks like that’s +2 for the Proline TSL Super Swampers. I’ll keep that in mind. Definitely let me know how those JConcepts work out! Their Landmines and Ruptures have caught my eye because I really like the price point.
