Default AR60 Universal disassembly

I have a few sets that I’ve broken the shafts or twisted the tangs, and some that have broken ears on the stub. I’d like to punch the pin out of the good stubs and reuse them on the good shafts. Can the pin be reused or do I have to replace it? Would drill blanks be strong enough? I remember reading a post about this a while ago but a search is turning up nothing for me. Eventually I’ll buy some Dlux Fab shafts, but I’d really like to get all my money’s worth out of the stock sets.

Yup, totally reusable. I usually hammer them out and slowly vice them back in.

Pin can be reused and a drill blank should work. Put the lower ear from the stub in a vice and tap it out. Put it back together the same way.
