| bulk wheel hubs
im finally looking into getting wheels with removable hubs and modify some existing wheels to accept them. every wheel i own has a hex, and i guess its time i get with the program. my question is, is there a company that sells bulk hubs, or a set of all offsets? my googling turned up nothing |

Search for SLW hubs. These are arguably the most popular and a fair number of wheels will fit the SLW hub.

I dont think I've ever seen a bulk set of wheel hubs so its likely to be a bit pricey. If you end up going for the SLW hubs Vanquish has a 20% off sale going now, not sure how long it goes though. Discount is shown in your cart BTW. https://www.vanquishproducts.com/slw-hubs-raw/ I feel like the main offsets I've used in the past have been in the 225-475 range so you might consider if you need the wider offsets at all. These are "adjustable" (using the included slw spacers) and will help you hone in what size you need for each of your cars: https://www.tcscrawlers.com/lattice-.../sku186692.htm If you prefer metric hardware instead of 4-40, these are a heck of a deal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4PCS-SET-Me...0-2cf5d4f28d47 |

Another alternative, not as expensive as SLW, but not necessarily budget either - BURC Hubs, 2 sizes - 0.500 and 0.669. They come with RC4WD Scale hardware in Black or Silver M3 metric size. https://supershafty.com/collections/...-0-5-and-0-669 |

I just buy .225 vanquish hubs and just 3D print spacers to whatever size I need. Can be reused, swapped around over and over with a single set of hubs, and different screw lengths. I did this for Shane Szczerba 3-4 yrs ago and that is all I ever do now lol, it works great and youll never mess em up and you dont have do buy a bunch to get things perfect.

Lattice innovations shift hubs absolutely kick ass. They come tapped M3 but there is a second set of holes drilled ready for a 4-40 tap if you insist on running such crap.

| Re: bulk wheel hubs A bit too spendy for me, but I like that they eliminate the 12mm hex entirely and just interface directly with the pins. Honestly, I think 12mm hubs are stupid and should go away. Interfacing directly with the pin is simpler and more reliable. To be honest, I'm kind of shocked that race vehicles haven't gone back to that design. It saves weight, it saves cost and it eliminates a failure point.

What truck do you have where you're using more than 4 hubs that would somehow work with 1 set of the Lattice hubs? The only time I've had to buy new hubs instead of just use a different thickness wheel hex was on my Yeti because those require a substantially different rear wheel offset. I will admit that when I made my comment about them being spendy, I hadn't realized that it was for a set of 4 hubs. I assumed it was for a pair like the SLWs come. $40 for a full set is much more reasonable, though still a little bit more expensive than more traditional options. | |
