Default Fast Eddy bearings

After destroying the stock front wheel bearings on my bomber with 8.8 lb I question myself if it's worth to buy fast Eddy bearings. What is your experience?

I've heard plenty of good, but I personally use Jim's Bearings. JimsBearings.com or he's on eBay also.

Who you buy from is less important than the type of bearing. I would be looking for ceramic bearings over steel bearings.

Every bearing with some random dudes name on them is likely the same cheap bulk chinesium. Grab some avid or the like quality bearings and they'll live longer.

I fixed the issue and went with dlux knuckles with 16 x 6 mm bearings with 8mm stub shafts. Not one single issue with bearings ever again.

Avid and acer are still the same cheap bearings.

But they have a pretty colored seals so they must be better!

When I think of those bearings I'm thinking ceramic. No reason to spend money on the same ol crap that will fail. My go too is always to upsize the bearings as it becomes obvious they will be an issue again.
