AR45 axle internals in AR44 housing?

Does any know if AR45 internals (axle shafts, bevel & ring gears) will work in AR44 housing?

Ring and pinion gears are the same in AR44 and AR45.

Not sure about the axle shafts. I just picked up a set of AR45 straight axles. I can check.

The front ar44 shafts wont work in the ar45 axles or visa vresa. The ar44 has a center diff, the ar45 has offset front shafts.

The rears will probably work though, as long as theyre the straight axle versions

Thanks, yeah - I'm interested in the REAR axle compatibility. Planning on using them on a 6X6 build and need to know if I can use AR45 internas in the "mirrored" AR44 axle housing: https://www.amainhobbies.com/axial-u...MaAjI6EALw_wcB

I have not yet cracked open my AR45 straight axles yet to inspect them in person, but I plan to use them in an upcoming build. I'll check back at that time to see if you have gotten your answer.

But just based on photos, it does appear that AR45 rear axle shafts are different than AR44 rear axle shafts. I don't know if the differences are significant enough to prevent them from being interchangeable.

Thanks for that Boldfin, much obliged. I think I found a solution to my axle issue. I'm trading a friend one of my unused cars for his used UMG10 that will serve as the basis for my build.
