Default Need help with axles

Hey yall, im workin on gatherin parts for a winter build n ive run into a bit of a thought problem. Hoping somebody can help...

Im goina be buildin on the vanquish vs4-10 chassis kit n the bed is a codyboy built flat bed. I was thinkin of maybe doin a dually, but most (if not all) axles are a bit to wide n the duals seem to stick way out past the body. I was wonderin if anybody has stuffed the grand or king hauler axles up under a scx10? I was thinkin the hauler axles may be a lil more narrow, but not so much they wouldnt work.

But then the issue would be bein stuck with the 1.7s for the dual wheels. Unless the 1.9s with the dually adapter would fit without pokin out to far.

Pics would be helpful. Any n all help is much appreciated! Thanks yall!

Locked up RC makes parts for narrowing the OG scx axles for the rear or beef tubes makes a narrow scx10 II axle as well

Sounds like a plan. Goina go with the VS4-10 chassis kit n, wen it comes out, the VFD trans. So definantly goina need the offset front axle.

Ascender axles are easily narrowed too. Flatbed looks great! I've been looking at the VP VXT tires too, how do you like them?

Thanks nate! Ernie dun a great job on that bed. Goina look good n work great for an old service truck. Lookin at gettin the PL 79 ford ascender cab.

Havent got the VXTs out yet, kinda savin them til i decide to go single or dual wheel. I really like the look of the wheels n tires together. Think theyd look good with a gunmetal n black or gunmetal n purple cab
