Default Rod End Measurements.

With building some links while at home with lockdown I got frustrated with making them the wrong length a couple of times...

Took some measurements to make my math a bit more accurate.

Here is the pic:

On the left the Traxxas Revo 4mm (5347) and on the right the Traxxas 3mm long (1942).

Hope this could help some. Now its really simple to figure out the threaded rod length and whatever you plan to sleeve that with.

Being someone who makes a ton of homemade links, this is useful to me and I'm sure many others would agree. Good stuff, thanks for posting!

Definitely useful info. Can you also pay the part numbers, for those not familiar with them? Personally, I know the 3mm, as I have two Rusty 4xs, plus a Sl4sh, but I don't even know the 4mm part number.

Thanks for doing this for those rod ends. Any chance you could also do the Jato rod ends (TRA5525) as those are also commonly used.

Default Rod End Measurements.

I unfortunately don’t have any Jato ends. Will see if I can get some from the LHS after lockdown sometime.

PS: aren’t the Jato ends just 9mm longer than the Revo? Just not sure about how deep the thread can go into it.
