Default Hurtz Dig V2 Parts

The set screw backed out of the drive dog on my Hurtz dig and got into the housing as it was spinning. It deformed the hex so much that I can’t get a tool in it so the set screw needs replaced.

I tried m2, m3, and 4-40. None of them fit. I emailed Vanquish to get the thread size but they haven’t responded.

Does anyone know the thread size for the set screw that fits this part?

Either 1/16 or .050 wrench, might be smaller than those 2 sizes as well

It's definitely tiny. I have the tools I need, but the screw itself is buggered up so bad that I can't get anything in the hex. I need to know the actual set screw size so I can replace it. Nothing I have on hand fits.

Following up for anyone who may find this while searching. I obviously need to step up my set screw game, so I ordered a metric assortment to keep on hand. M2.5 threads in beautifully. Pretty sure it has a 1.3mm hex, but .050" fits it pretty well. 1.3mm is .052", so it's really close anyways.

I'm good to go now!
