Default blackfoot trans?

Are they good for anything? I have a super I want to use parts off of for my scaler like servos possibly trans already locked and dog bones with tlt axles. I plan to buy a tlt kit and use what I can from that and the blackfoot.

It's worth a shot.I've seen a guy over on rcmt take a Clod geracase and he removed the axle tubes and knuckles and machined up some part's for the axle to accept Maxx outdrives.Come to think of it I think that he's a member on here as well(ROKTOY).

Tamiya still produces the Blackfoot (Xtreme Edition), so I wouldn't imagine that parts are very difficult to find at all.

I don't believe they're the same transmission as the original blackfoot.

This thread wasn't in reference to the original Blackfoot.

The original Blackfoot has it's own transmission, the Super and King share the same transmission and the Xtreme is a Wild Dagger transmission.

I read the original post and I'm not sure which tranny it referred to, but I'm pretty sure that the original Blackfoot had the same one as the Frog, which has been re-released so parts should be available, if that helps any.

He said it's a Super Blackfoot, but yeah, the original is the same as the Frog, Brat and Monster Beetle.

The re-released Frog and Brat both have trannys that are different than the origional. The originals had issues with the durability of the out drives. There where changes made to improve the quality.
