Default What length should my links be

I know that I can amke them any length. But is there a ratio for what the upper and lower should be? Should they be the same length? Or do they just have to be right above one another on the axle? I just made some and they don't quite work properly and I want to know why. They just start to bind. The uppers are shorter than the lowers.

Thanks,
Brandon

It really depends on what chassis you are using, they are all different. So, what chassis do you have? Maybe someone with that chassis can help you out. Also what axles are you using? Pics would help a lot too.

Maybe they are too short or spread too far apart?

It is a custom chassis. I am using it for my Wrangler build. So far everything is built close to 1/6th scale. Though maybe the chassis is to narrow. I will try and get some pics. for you guys later. As a general rule it doesn't matter how long the links are or where there placed as long as the axle is straight? Or do they have along the same line on the axle? I am currently using Clod axles. I have built a chassis a few years ago and it worked fine for me. Maybe I just got lucky for my first time?

Thanks,
Brandon
