Default Rear steering...

I am debating weather or not I would like a rear steering setup on my wheely king crawler... I have a 2.2 tuber (RC4WD Pro Chassis) with an R2 tranny, and the works.. my question is, I don't have a dig setup.. Would rear steering be the way to go? or what?

I have a servo already, I would need a servo mount and linkage..

What about recivers? and controllers? what ALL would I need, can someone give me a link for a good, cheap controller/reicever setup, for a rear steering setup??

Thanks!

rear steer is usefull, but it is not comp legal for 2.2 crawlers. if you are just bashing, rear steer is just fine, but in my opinion, I would go with a dig setup, has alot more uses and can really save you on some climbs/decents.

what kind of radio do you have? your going to want one with three channels, such as a tq3 with modded switch.

I just bought:

Servo mount
Servo
TQ3 Radio
Traaxas 3 Channel Receiver

What else will I need to run rear steering, besides like steering linkage? Is that everything??

What's this modded switch?

You will need the parts to convert your TQ3 for rear steer.

don't forget that you are gonna need an epa for that tq3 or yo are gonna burn out yer servo

if you are savy enough you can install them on the tx if not at servo city they sell a thing called a servo extender for 20 bucks, personally i think it's the shiznit

now go and ship all the stuff you owe people i think i saved you enough money to pay fer the shipping with this post

"don't forget that you are gonna need an epa for that tq3 or yo are gonna burn out yer servo"

I'm over 6 months into rear steering with my TowerPro MG945 and TQ3 with no epa pots. No problems so far.

Then again, I can't be held responsible if anything should happen to your servo should you do the same.
