Default BEADLOCKS: Yay or nay???

Hey guys, I wanted to get your thoughts on how these wheels look with my fake beadlock treatment. Tell me whether or not you like them... Even a 2 word reply would help me like: "I like" or "Don't like"

Thanks!

EDIT: Here are two more angles:

If you are going to screw them to the rim then they look good.
If you are just goin to glue them, I dont like them.

leave em off, the rims are really nice, why hide them?

if the center bore were loarger, and didn't hide the rim, then i would say yes.

I'm going NAY because it may look more scale, but sadly most of the crawlers on here are farm from scale in dimensions

I would say NAY! Infact I would get rid of those tires and rims... AND GIVE THEM TO ME! You can keep the bead locks.

Y'know... I wish I would thought about it more before gluing them to the wheels... They're on there really solidly, and looking behind the beadlocks, it looks like the wheel became slightly discolored from the glue 8O So now I have to figure out what I am going to do... The opening is rather large, so you can still see plenty of the wheel behind it, its just the angle of the pic.

I might just do all the wheels in beadlock fashion and go get me some losi smasher tires and another set of wheels.... I wasn't so fond of the black wheels on with this truck anyhow... So this was a big oops

I say to get rid of the little nubs on the outer part, narrow the original wheels, and screw them. Give an aggressive tread to those mashers, and a cool look to those wheels! Also pick up like a rubicon or bronco body to look realistic!

Well, I've decided to keep them.

The wheels are actually narrowed, and the reason I want to keep it and make the rest is the ring is actually functional. Because those notches point inward, it pinches the tire. So while its not a true "bead lock" it does the job of one.

I can't screw through it because the rings are two piece, and where I would drill is right where they overlap. I may add some screw heads around the perimeter for looks, but with the glue, they are functional, which is good enough for me. I may also paint them.
