Default bent links

when trying to set up suspension geometry does a bent lower link act different than a straight link? i just cant seem to get my rig set up any sugestions i wonder if the links make a differance

i did run bent links. to me nothing chaged other then shortening the wb a little. depend on your chassie and mounting bending them isnt going to gain anything

Need pics to help,

But bent links will add ground clearance on most and will not change travel or any other aspect, it should not have changed your wheel base, your not supposed to bend the links that are already there you have to take the existing link eye to eye length and make a bent link the same eye to eye.

Yeah, from what I was told by guys that know what there talking about, you can tie a knot in it and as long as the length from eye to eye is the same, nothing will change.

Bent links won't change the way the susp acts.

Think of it like this: Once you bend a link, you now have a triangle, two sides of the bent link and the 3rd side is the stright line btwn the two ends (hypotenenuse). The link will act like a link that is the same as the hypotenuse. You could have a whole bunch of S curves and bends in the link, and it will still act like a straight line btwn the two ends.

If it makes it ez er to visulize set your rig up with the straight links then swap in the bent links to drive.As said before just make sure the C to C is the same. I love my bent links !
