|  Rear negative camber?
Im sure its been done but does anyone think some negative camber in the rear of a crawler help performace a little. Slightly less contact patch when going straight up hills and better stability when running either front tire up a ledge? It could be accomplished by rotating the axle c's and making a camber link with a turnbuckle for adjustablility. I was thinking of trying it on my AX10.

It's been discussed before. I remember someone was going to try it on their comp rig using a servo to make it adjustable on the fly. They were asking if it was considered "rear steer" or not and would it be comp legal....it ended up that it is not legal and IS considered rear steer. Now in the case of yours being "locked out" using the turnbuckle and not being adjustable on the fly...I would assume it would be no different than locking out the rear's with the knuckle the standard way. |
