Default Who wants national scale comp rules????

This is a feeler for some upcoming discussions that I want you all to be involved in. In a couple of weeks I will be starting a new thread, and will be asking questions to all the scale guys across the country.

So my poll question is:

Do you all want one set of national scale competition rules?

Yes, an accepted scale rule set would be great.
You gonna start a sanctioning body?

It would be awesome to have a national set of rules among all clubs that is much like the USRCCA. I am all aboard on this trip.

Yes, scale comps have always discombobulated me as how they work. First one I went to I ended up 2nd and have no idea how!!

Structure would be good, there are sooooooo many variables.

Wouldn't mind having one set of rules or classes. It would make going to events in other states easier to get ready for.

I would defiantly like a national set of rules for the scale comps.
I think that is one of the hardest parts of running the scale series here in Colorado. Too many ideas and too many people wanting this or that added or changed.
If this does happen I would love to be part of it. Let me know if there is any way that I can help.

Everyone will be helping with these rules. Start making a list of rules you'd like to see, and rules that you don't like.

If you'd like to review the current rules that Scale 4X4 and MSD use, links are below. I'll be starting a discussion thread in a couple of weeks.....be ready for it .

* Official RULES * 2010 MSD Scale Nats, please read *

Thanks, Tim.

Great idea, I have been to 3 different scale comps. lately and all three were judged-scored differently.
