| The "How do I get the mud of my JK" Thread
Ok I got the New Bright JK that's covered in mud. I want it off my headlights and everything else. I've been searching for a good solution and came up empty handed. So far I have tried regular nail polish remover on the body and it fogged up the black plastic. no big since I was planning on painting it. On the wind shield I used Non-acetone nailpolish remover and it took off the mud and "New Bright" without damaging the plastic On one head light I used the same non-acetone remover and it fogged up the headlight. If anyone else has tried something that worked please post up. If anyone tried something that failed post up so others know not to try it. Thanks D. |

I'm not sure if it will fog the clear plastic but brake fluid will strip the paint, it works slower than oven cleaner.

Brake Fluid will take it off, that's how I did mind. Then I used a SOS pad to scufff it up before I repainted it |
