| trailer axles
What do ya'll use as axles for the trailer builds? i really want to start one but i don't know what to do for axles? any suggestions?

I'm using modified stub shafts as spindles and modified wheel adapters as a hubs. |

I use 8-32 all thread and automotive brake line. Really simple just grease up the all thread put it thru the brake tubing and use 2 nuts on each side 4 total. Tighten up the nuts against each other to keep them from binding the axle up. Then you can mount most 1.9 wheels, the nuts are wide enough that the backs of the rims have a flat surface to mount on. 2 more bolts to hold on the wheels and you've got yourself a low budge trailer axle . I thought that they might have a lot of drag from not having any bearings but they are actually pretty smooth.
