Default SLOW build. (pieces parts)

this thread will be slow moving as my funds will control how fast and /or how far this build goes. heres my start, tlt axles (not sure if i like them ill probably sell them and find axial axles) and the chassis is cut out of 4x4 vinyl fence post with seperate mounted lower link mounts (opinions on chassis design and material choice also appreciated) this is 100% a as low cost as possible build as i am 16 with no job (not my choice) but need to fufill a crawling addiction..so on to the pic....

thats a good idea with the fence post material just pe sure to enforce it with cross members to prevent breaking
lookin forward to seeing this thing come together
glad to see im not the only one trying to build on a budget

very cool and neat idea but i think it will flex way too much as a crawler chassis, maybe even snap being PVC........bob

Look like a nice start!

Worse case if it breaks you can rebuild it how you want it an have all of
your gear already.

so first off, the body it basically started like this:

and is now like this: (rear is going to get dovetailed)

and a list of mods so far;
-Permanent locked front and rear (stock) diffs (i put a space inbetween the "lock ring" and the bearing)
-modified front suspension and links (AX-10 springs re-located mounts and longer links)
-and electronics, axial ae-1 esc, axial tx/rx, integy 55t (27t is on shelf), and a towerpro mg946r hi torque servo

body-off shots to come
