| 1:24 scale links help
I am building a SSMT 1:43 into a 1:24 ZR2 crawler. now I need some links to keep the rearend in place. I have searched and could not find anything that would work. what I am tring to do get something to wrap around the axle to mount link to. Any sugestions on something that small and how to go about the links? I am new to this hobby and am trying to work my way up from a nylint. |

As for the links, get some Traxxas links. They make them all the way down to 48mm, which is only like 2-3" I think. I've seen them in person and they're pretty small. They'd probably work for something like that.

i think he knows how to make links. He needs a way to mount links to the axles. The Zap mini crusher axles are a lot easier to work with, they have link mounts built in.

Xtreme ZR2 / Knytemare: it's a 1:24 amt model promo from the dealer. they sell them on e-bay allready built. very easy for me to hack up. TBItoy: That's what I was going to do until I seen those pictures on here. RANOVRU / exesivefire: That might be what I am really looking to get. they look very easy to mount. almost too easy. I am going to jump over to tower and see what's what but you got a part number? swamped2a: what Got Rocks? said. |

sorry bud not sure of the part number.. but there just standard traxxas rod ends like used on the stampede, i think i had to drill the hole a bit to slip over the axle.. the other end ate mini t ball cups and i used sleved 2-56 rod for the link itself.. i did fill the hole in the traxxas link with jb weld as 2-56 is a little small in the traxxas rod end |
