I strongly belive HPI and Tamiya are on about the same level as far as realism. Proline comes close but recently their grills and molding skills have turned me off. Parma is down right horible with grills and fenders. HPI bronco (awesome decals, measuring it to the 1:1 it is very accurate) Proline c-10 (made my own grill, one it came with was cartoony) Parma's Nissan Titan (Love the shell just the front fender lines cut into the doors) |

For a bronco Tamiya's is more realistic It has a real grill and not a sticker and is closer to 1/10 than the HPI which is bigger.

I have a proline bronco and a tamiya bronco. The tamiya is much more scale. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |

I've yet to be impressed by a lexan pickup / SUV bodyshell, they always tend to look 'blobby'. Tamiya make some impressive road car bodyshells, but the detail seems lost on the off-road bodies...
