Default Hello all

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am Kevin Burns and have been into r/c since 1980. I have been jumping back and fourth from cars and trucks to nitro boats over the years. Now I am starting to enjoy scale trucks.
I owned a RC4WD trail finder and now I have a Komodo, lol yes a Komodo. I like the Komodo very much and am getting ready to build a body for it. So far I have changed the motor to a 45 turn RC4WD motor and replaced the pinion gear to a 9 tooth. I have built a splash proof radio box and built a rear bumper.
I figured to join this site in hopes to meet people and maybe get some tips on what ever I might need help with as I scale out the truck.
Before I bought the Komodo I researched the truck and found no good words about it. I bought it anyways after I sold my RC4WD Trail Finder. I really like the axels on that came with the Komodo and am very happy with the Komodo, im glad I bought it!
In the future I am going to install the driveline from RC4WD parts, motor up front with 2 speed trans, and a Transfer case onto the Komdo chassis. I also want to install leaf springs. Anyways I hope to find a scale club close to Kenton Ohio.

Welcome Kevin. I don't know anything about your Komodo so I can't comment except to say this. If you enjoy it then that's all that matters. Have fun.
