Default JK Scaler, Fastlane or New Bright

I'm looking to do a JK scaler and i want to do it more of a buggy then a street legal looking truck. Fender flare removed. Comp Cut and tubing.

I'm wondering whats the pro's and con's of the fastlane VS the Newbright body.

i will be ordering of the net so i don't have a chance to get this in my hand and look at the two.

Ill chime in. The Fastlane is smaller more of an actual 1/10 scale. And the new bright is 1/8. Personally I love the fastlane body, But its harder to find places for the electronics.

Here is my Fastlane JK's

I don't know too much about fastlane. I wanted to do a exo cage and needed a hardbody so the NB JK it was because they were @ radio shack. Most of the local radio shacks are sold out but they started @ 79.95 then 49.95 and now 39.95 so next year I'm getting mine after the 1st.

Custom make them out of 8-32 all thread, REVO rod ends and an outer sleeve (aluminum, stainless, brake line, etc) of your choice.

fastlane jeeps are much smaller they have a 10.5" WB and are very rare. very hard to find. ive only seen 2 up for sale in the last several years, and i snaged one of them.
the JK jeep is large and a 13" WB

hope this helps

I had a few of the fast lane ones and thought they were more like 1/12, 1/14 scale. Toysrus used to carry them from what I remember

It's 1/11th and the new bright is 1/9th. Based off wheelbase.
