| Transfer case only, no transmission???
Can you run a hammer 1.47/1 transfer case straight to the motor with no transmission? For my current build this seems to be my only option for the time being, but need input. I know it's possible to connect the two, but I need to know if it's safe for the motor and t-case. The case in mind will be matted to a 35t rc4wd throw away motor, but I can play around with motors since I won't have gearing options. Again, only if it will work.

Sure it'll work but you're going to want either an 80 turn motor or a small gear reduction unit like HPI used for the crawler king.

Yeah, you're going to have to find some type of gear reduction to attach to the motor like the hpi or a planetary, or use an incredibly high turn motor. If you do the math on kv- x -volts and then divide by the transfer case ratio and axle reduction, that should be a start to figure out what turn motor you need

That makes perfect sense thanks guys. Plus that gives me gearing options.
