| Willkommen am Waldrand (Welcome to the edge of the forest)
So I've had this pile of dirt on the edge of the woods for about 2 years now. It's all leftover fill from when I built my garage and I saved it for the sole purpose of building some sort of RC track. I was originally going to build a 120'x50' 1/8 buggy/short course track. But I've since drifted away from racing and have been focused more on crawling. Also, the wife wasn't too happy when I told her the track would have used all of the backyard. So here we are, building a crawler course in the woods. Stay tuned for updates. Ausgezeichnet... Color me interested! If I ever get a little piece of land down here in South Central Texas, I'm going to do a combination of Xeriscaping and a Japanese Zen rock garden... ...complete with Bonsai trees that can take the summer heat! (Maybe by then I'll have found a significant other as well, but I'm getting to be an old goat here) |
