1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Hi, check this out - wow!!! :) Working steering wheel, super detailled, awsome price: ROCHOBBY 1/6 2.4G 2CH 1941 MB SCALER https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333239 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333237 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333235 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333233 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333231 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333229 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333225 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333221 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333223 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...entid=13333227 Love it :) Walter |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby I wonder if that wood box acts as a battery door. That would be pretty slick. Only misstep is the coil over suspension, but that body looks fantastic. I'll just need ebay to send another one of thos 20% off coupons and I'll own one. Good find! Sent from my SM-N970U1 using Tapatalk |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby That's pretty cool. If the quality is good, which is my concern, it has the potential to be awesome. |

... and if you mod it to leafsprings ;) video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb7CEJyIsJo Further video premiere 1. April: https://youtu.be/vPvsA1B7-Fo I do not know how to imbed YT-videos here on RCCrawler... tried, but failed. Walter |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby RocHobby is part of FMS Products and they make nice Airplanes ;) |

Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c770e1bab9.jpg Lemme think a small actuator makes this a tilt body. Hmmmmmmm might just get one to play with Hang up and Drive |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby That looks like a nice body and very close to fitting our typical 1:10 scale parts. |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Is it just me or does it look like it has a 3 link with panhard?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0dcac369bb.jpg Sent from my SM-N970U1 using Tapatalk |

Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby The specs are giving it a 324mm wheel base, which is 12.76", a 1:1 MB Military has a 80" wheel base. At 1/6th scale, that's 13.3", so this model is actually a tiny bit bigger, somewhere around 1:5.75 scale. Having built a few of the Hasbro 1/6th-ish scale Jerps, this new one is big! |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Too many people preordered (know some from German forums). Now it is marked as "sold out" and the price raised by 20 $ ;) Walter |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby I just realized it's 4-link. No, no, no...this should be leaf springs for sure! Who's buying one and doing the conversion? |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Quote:
Cause "everyone" is complaining about the missing leafs. However: It is crapcheap and looks fantastic. What would a similar truck made by RC4WD with leafsprings cost? 500, 800, 1000? Walter |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Any known axles that would fit underneath? |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Quote:
Capra lists a width of 10 1/4 but then you've got portals which isn't the most scale fit for a flat fender. Whats the width of an XR mod axle anyone know? |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Quote:
Is that outside wheel to wheel or axles? Roughly 260mm then. The AR60 is 245mm hex to hex. |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby I was thinking AR60 as well, but they arnt any more scale looking and are not particularly know to be super robust. On a side note Hrozon Hobby distributes FMS aircraft. It will be interesting to see if they pick this guy up Sent from my SM-N970U1 using Tapatalk |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Quote:
True. Once upon a time there were many scale and beefier options for the ar60. |

Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby I found a list of parts and a French manual on my travels.... Scroll down past the planes for parts and page 2 for option parts https://www.beez2b.com/en/601_rochobby French Manual https://www.beez2b.com/en/index.php?...attachment=181 |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Oops... I just ordered mine... They write expected shipping 24 / 4-20 but let's see if it holds in these corona times. |

Nice! Page 2 has the body and accessories which is great news if anyone wants just the body (once its available). |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Here are more details: canopy.... and... in one shot you can see the wheel turning. Wonder if that feature comes stock? Or - just get the body by itself, once available... hmm. Reminds me of my old sawback, that I cut in pieces :ror: https://www.youtube.com/embed/WcIwfdnvF20 |

Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Hi all, I'm new of the forum from Italy. I'm a fan of jeep willys ww2. Please I need know if the body and tires can be mounted in my axial scx10 II. Thanks for answers ! https://i.ibb.co/Dr1RTwJ/20200327-113505.jpg |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby No. |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby To be a bit more precise, the wheels should mount to a standard 12mm hex like the scx10 ii has, but I doubt you could get the body to fit. It is much too large to fit the scx10 chassis. Sent from my SM-N970U1 using Tapatalk |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby The interior would likely be in the way on the SCX10.2 tranny. Though anything is possible with enough hacking, determination and modifications. |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby Man, if I hadn't already done a Sawback as a GPW and hacked a Dragon figure to fit this would be awfully tempting! |
Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby 1 Attachment(s) That 41 GPW looks pretty nice. I have been eye-balling this one to turn into RC. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-6-Scale-f...53.m1438.l2649 |

Re: 1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby https://youtu.be/FBKjQXxCXik Here it is driven hard. Is surprising the windshield holds for it. |

And agreed, amazing that the windshield didn't become a casualty. |
