can you run these motors with the stock esc and a 1320 lipo with no probloms |
I need to put my stock ESC back in, but with a max amp draw of 3.5 amps I would guess that everything would work just fine. Lipo- the stock ESC doesn't have cutoff so you would need to be very careful. Since the amp draw is so low it would be very hard to know when the pack "dumps". I overdischarged a pack with no cutoff set. |

thanks for the info i only run it for about 1hr then true it off. |
ordered mine last night :) |
Ordered mine! Thanks John...... |
The stickers should come in today. If they do not then motors will ship out monday since I am going to Chicago for the Ihobby show. Don't want to send nekid motors out. |
I wanted a little more speed and power in my mrc so I ordered the Holmes Hobbies mini torque master motor. I broke it in yesterday and got it installed today for a test run. It comes with the motor leads and mini plugs already soldered on, just plug it in and go. First thing I noticed is that the speed is close to double compared to stock, low end power is strong and controllable...This motor gets an A+ from me! http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...mini-motor.jpg |
this should bring some life to this little truck ... "thumbsup" |
hay JHR you have any left ?? yea ,i need one , got mini-ed !! "thumbsup" |

Oh and looks like a great motor.....but then again all your products are great "thumbsup" |
When will these be back in stock? |
A couple of days. I reordered as soon as they ran out. Normally I try to catch it faster. |
So with a max amp draw of 3.5amps, you're saying my 2cell 860mah 30C pack will be plenty?:ror:"thumbsup" I've said it before and I'll say it again.........love this motor.8)8) |
Can I prepay for one of these and few other items? |
Should come in today or tomorrow, so I will hold off on the prepay option. I prefer to not have backorders on my books. |
I got mine installed and it's much faster but still has good low end control. VERY nice."thumbsup" |
JRH, What rating Lipo do you recommend for my MRC running the TorqueMaster Mini with a tekin FXR? I'm looking at 7.4v for the class. Would a 20C 800mah be sufficient or is that not going to supply enough amps? thanks |

No 8711 but I do run a CS170 @ 7V. I figure if it can pickup my 2.2 it should suffice for my MRC:ror: |
