I need to put my stock ESC back in, but with a max amp draw of 3.5 amps I would guess that everything would work just fine. Lipo- the stock ESC doesn't have cutoff so you would need to be very careful. Since the amp draw is so low it would be very hard to know when the pack "dumps". I overdischarged a pack with no cutoff set.

I wanted a little more speed and power in my mrc so I ordered the Holmes Hobbies mini torque master motor. I broke it in yesterday and got it installed today for a test run. It comes with the motor leads and mini plugs already soldered on, just plug it in and go. First thing I noticed is that the speed is close to double compared to stock, low end power is strong and controllable...This motor gets an A+ from me! |

A couple of days. I reordered as soon as they ran out. Normally I try to catch it faster.

So with a max amp draw of 3.5amps, you're saying my 2cell 860mah 30C pack will be plenty? I've said it before and I'll say it again.........love this motor. |

Should come in today or tomorrow, so I will hold off on the prepay option. I prefer to not have backorders on my books.

JRH, What rating Lipo do you recommend for my MRC running the TorqueMaster Mini with a tekin FXR? I'm looking at 7.4v for the class. Would a 20C 800mah be sufficient or is that not going to supply enough amps? thanks |

| That will be plenty of amps, even if you run an 8711 for steering |
