are you using the standard P94 hoods or changing them to the normal stand ups?

JohnRobHolmes 12-10-2008 02:21 PM

Standard P94 stuff, the big brushes.

It should be nearly identical to the Ti build TorqueMasters I have been building, maybe a touch lower rpm.

I may get one for the scaler need some wheel speed. I think a 35t will do."thumbsup"

Are these to replace the Torquemaster Pro HW 540s?

JohnRobHolmes 12-11-2008 07:28 AM

For the short term, yes. I am getting the regular TM Pro version re manufactured, but it will take many months to complete. The performance differences will be small between the two builds, but they will use different replacement parts.

constantmotion 12-11-2008 10:52 AM

Just thought that by just some chance they were gonna getting here early....:-(

I am hunting for a nice 45t Hand Wound motor, I noticed that every 45t is out of stock on your site.
Any idea when you might get any in?

Sh1T, pay day come, pay day come.

Hey John, can you reserve a 45T for me and I will order Monday?!?! ;-)

JohnRobHolmes 12-16-2008 06:53 PM

Still have a few of the 45t left, and about 20 of the 35t left. I appriciate your support of the new build, it is a good one that you will enjoy.

XPLORx4 12-19-2008 11:34 AM

I've been strongly wanting a Cobalt 7T for my comp rig running 3S Lipo, but I just preordered a 35T, mostly because it's less expensive. Did I make the right choice? Does the 7T have more torque and wheelspeed than the 35T? What advantages are there with the 35T compared to the Cobalt 7T? I know the 7T is longer, but it fits in the stock AX10 chassis, so that's not a concern.

JohnRobHolmes 12-19-2008 11:37 AM

The 7t does have more torque and Wheelspeed, but it comes at a sacrifice to runtime. The 35t is still quite the powerful motor, gets you better runtime, and is a bit lighter.
