Default Alum. tubing size WK mods?

Well I broke down and bought a WK to mod. into a crawler.
I ordered the HPI crawler conv. kit and their new gear reduction box.
I was going to move the steering servo to the front axle using a templete That i found on these forums.

My question is what size of Alum. tubing do i need for the steering links?

I went to Lowe's today and picked up some 6-32 all tread for my ball ends i had already. They don't carry any tubing that small so i was going to order it from Tower Hobbies.

Any help would be great

I made my links out of 1/4" solid aluminum rod. I tapped the ends for 4-40 rod. I have yet to break a 4-40 in this manner. I was going to use 6-32 but I didn't know if I could tap the 1/4 aluminum r such a big rod.

You other option is go with brakeline - instead of the aluminum tubing. I am thinking that the brakeline might be a bit thicker in the wall as well. You can get a brakeline size (sorry I don't know right now) that will fit the 6-32 pretty snugly.
