Default Soon to get my WK 4x4

Hello everyone! As soon as hurricane gustav passes okay i hope to buy my WK! I am new to R/C and crawling all together. I have been rearching things for a few weeks now and i starting to unstand how things work and what i want. I would like to make a scale frame for it i know WKs axles are to wide for actual "scale" but im just going for looks. I am trying to go for a tough truck "theme" if you want to call it lol. I also would like to maybe keep it stock w/b. So i will be not be crawling rocks much more like mud, dirt hills/trails/jumps. So i have a few questions, what bodys fit the wheely king with stcok w/b or how do i determine what bodies will fit. Can someone explain again the fliped chasis...i have read about it but still dont understand why you do it and all the steps you have to do. Sorry for a long post! and thanks in advance! I think rock crawling is awsome!

Well, let me be the first to say welcome to the club man. As for bodies that will fit the WK, HPI makes a Hummer H2 body that you can get from the WK accessories page on their website. If you would be willing to stretch your wheelbase you can get this http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/85633/ It will allow you to get all bodies that are for a HPI Savage. I can't help you out much with the flipped chassis question as I haven't done that yet.

This pertains to the chassis question: If you "flip the chassis" it puts the battery in the front so the weight helps hold it down while climbing. This is also very simple to do. If you plan on mounting the servo on the axle just mount it on the back axle and switch the motor wires. As bigdodge88 stated above the body mounts allows for any Hpi body to fit right on. I have 2 Stretched WK's one with The 73 Bronco and Jeep rubicon And they both use those body mounts.

Save yourself some frustration and get the crawler conversion from HPI when you get your WK. The kit has instructions detailing the chassis flip.
