These are a direct drop in and hold up great.

You could wrap the servo and rx, but the esc will get hot if it has no air across it.
You can keep a eye out for a xl-5 traxass esc. It is as waterproff as it gets. I get mine wet all the time and it is holding up great. Used ones usally run around 40 bucks.

Cant see pic of 2nd one, The first will work but its a pain. The rcguy one locks in nice and tight. The other is made more for the axial but it will work. Dont know how it will hold up though.

The first one you posted will drop right in just like it does in the Axial...but it's an already weak part since the shaft bores have a bit too much slop to the axle shafts. They eventually start to round out the holes in the locker and fail.

I have the rcguy lockers and they work great. I have been beating on them for years with out any problems. And I've never seen any one bag a servo. All I do is hit the edges with hot glue and put some Vaseline all around the servo horn.
