Default Parts Score

Scored some "King" aluminum parts from a former coworker tonight!

Front axle with CVD's!!!

Aluminum lock outs with what feels like straight axles.

STRC chassis and Integy aluminum trans case......plus what appears to be metal gears inside!

Don't know what shock tower those are, anybody here with experiance?

Get ready to change your underwear guys, the whole lot cost me a grand total of $30!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to rip the axles apart so I can see whats in there for diffs now The axles will be going in my stock chassis rock basher WK while the trans wil be going into the 12 3/4"-13"wb WK monster truck I'm building from abandoned projects and spare parts.............with a rather accurately chosen HPI Grave Robber hearse body

I just took a quick glance at these parts when I bought them and didn't realize the full extent until I got home and started to dig into things.

More like an old friend (we worked together at two different jobs over the last 13 years) who knew I would put those parts to good use.

even better, sounds like you got a keeper there, don't hear about stuff like this too often, so consider yourself blessed in that.

Just talked to the guy today, he didn't know that the trans had those gears in it when he bought it as a parts truck!

Those are hot racing aluminum transmission gears...very good upgrade but not as strong as rc4wd steel gears from my experience (2 sets of hot racing o went through before rc4wd re-re-released them)

Awesome score!!

I think these hears are steel, but I'll take a magnet to them next time I'm in the case.

I did get the axles installed on my crawler WK and rebuilt the trans with the new factory HPI gears from the Monster KING, the originals were in damn good shape for being 4 1/2 years old thought! Do the STRC knuckles give you more caster too? Seems like it has more than before now.
