Default Narrow up the track width?

i'm wondering if anyone has used or thought about using the proline 2.2/3.0 protrac beadlock wheels and proline swampers on their WK or CK to get a narrow track width? This way I could use some of the bodies I like and be closer to tucking under with the tires.

Wheely king axle narrowing - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums

the thread linked above shows how to use hpi nitro rs4 knuckles, or scx10 knuckles to narrow your track width by 3/4". or you can go all out and use all the tricks in that thread and narrow them all the way down to under 5"

I've used traxxas slayer wheels with the supplied 14mm hex with success and I can't really see how you'd get any narrower than that without cutting down the case/axles
